Rigorously monitored and maintained by Cambridge English, the CELTA name provides a quality-guarantee, and the programme provides an excellent springboard into the world of Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Trinity CertTESOL

The Trinity CertTESOL (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) is the closest rival to the Cambridge CELTA course, and it is rapidly increasing popularity with trainees and employers is not to be underestimated. Very similar in structure to the CELTA, this programme also provides trainees with 6 hours of teaching practice, alongside input sessions covering language awareness and teaching methodology. Do you want to take an intensive TEFL course, but simply don't have the time or availability to take four weeks away from work? If this sounds like you, then a part-time CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL could be the best option for you. Many providers offer programmes identical to the 4-week intensive programme, but spread over 12, 13 or 16 weeks (depending on location).
