As part of Brighton Festival Fringe 2009 Cactus TEFL is very proud to host their second Brighton TEFL Open Evening at the Jubilee Library. Cactus TEFL hosts a programme of informative talks and presentations about all aspects of TEFL.
We have expert speakers giving useful overviews of the various courses, from pre-TEFL prep courses, short tasters, weekend courses, online courses through to full four-week industry standard intensive and part time courses.
We include a demo lesson to give you an idea of how it feels to be a student and a teacher, and news and updates about new developments within Cactus and the TEFL world.
We focus on TEFL jobs, with information about employment in different parts of the world, how to find jobs and what is expected of you as a TEFL teacher.
There are prizes to be won, including a place on a FREE Cambridge CELTA course at Brighton Portland Road, worth over �700! generously sponsored by GEOS Brighton, and a place on the Cactus Online TEFL Course.
There is time for questions, and at the end of the evening you will have the chance to mingle with TEFL experts and like-minded would-be TEFLers and to ask more questions, with wine, nibbles and soft drinks provided.

School Details - Cactus TEFL

Cactus TEFL is home to its own courses, too. Cactus TEFL Tailormade Courses are available for organisations and institutions which need training for their teachers, both in ESOL and EFL. The Cactus English Language Awareness Course was developed as a direct response to the needs of applicants who have had no formal training in the grammar of the English language. The ELA course is also perfect as preparation for a 4 week TEFL course. The third Cactus own-brand course is the IC TESOL, the Introductory Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, a 4 week, part time course held in central London.
