Language & Educational Training Worldwide
IATEFL – The International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language - has a very large number of scholarships which allow teachers and other professionals in English Language Teaching from all over the world to become members of IATEFL and attend their Annual Conference in the UK However, up until 2009 there were no scholarships aimed at very new teachers who have followed a typical TEFL course such as the Cambridge CELTA or the Trinity Cert TESOL. So, as we are an admissions service for around 1000 new TEFL teachers each year, Cactus TEFL stepped in and created a new scholarship – Cactus to Conference - aimed specifically at teachers who have just recently stepped out of a TEFL course and need all the help they can get in the form of knowledge about teaching and contacts to help them along their way. We have now been able to award this scholarship to a lucky winner each year since 2009.
We are pleased to confirm Camilla Heath as the winner of the 2011
