About IATEFL
IATEFL is the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language.
Founded in the UK in 1967, IATEFL is a charity which now has over 3,500 members in more than one hundred different countries. Its mission is to link, develop and support English Language Teaching professionals worldwide. IATEFL acts as a development and support network, bringing its members into contact with each other and fostering countless opportunities for international networking and professional development. Members of IATEFL get the unique chance to meet and communicate with an exciting, active network of like-minded ELT professionals, especially through the Special Interest Groups (SIGs).
