Customer Feedback
Comprehensive, well managed and run, good facilities.
-Justin Treadwell-
The BEST place to do your CELTA course has to be the centre in Milan. I walked into the school wanting the certificate and to get on with teaching and walked out feeling totally inspired and ready to teach some great lessons! The course is dynamic and fun but also well-structured and thorough. The support and encouragement given by the tutors on the course was invaluable.
-Julia Dixey-
Overall, it was an amazing course, even though I was extremely busy. It was definitely worth the investment!
In fact, I fell so much in love with the city that I'm going to stay here until the summer, working.

Course Description
If you want to teach English to adult learners, CELTA is the best known and most widely taken initial 'TESOL/TEFL' qualification of its kind in the world. Although the CELTA may be a little more expensive than other TEFL courses, it is by far the most widely recognised initial qualification for teaching English in the world. An investment, not a cost!
Added advantages of doing the CELTA is that it can also be taken as Module One of the Certificate in Further Education Teaching Stage 3 with the Certificate for ESOL Subject Specialists, which is a qualification for teachers who want to specialise in teaching English in Further, Adult and Community Education in England and Wales. Another possibility is to take the much sought after University of Cambridge ESOL 'Young Learners Extension to CELTA' course, which will allow you to teach children as well.
This particular course comprises 130 hours of tuition, as opposed to the 120 hours prescribed by Cambridge (which is a minimum number of contact hours).
The school has a small but very dedicated and experienced team. Between them they've run more than 50 courses and pride themselves on working withtheir candidates so each and every one can get the most from the course.
They are there to train, guide and assess you, never to judge or criticise you.
Once you have your qualification, employment prospects are good. There are about 150 private language schools in Milan alone, and schools are always on the lookout for qualified teachers.
Accommodation Options
The school provides all trainees with a comprehensive list of options from which they can book their own accommodation. Please allow about 500 to 600 Euros per month for a basic studio flat, and a little less than that in shared accommodation.
Accommodation options include shared apartments, hotel and guesthouse accommodation.
School Details - Milan
The school has just moved to its brand new purpose-built premises in a very central yet quiet part of Milan, a mere 10 minutes walk from the two main railway stations (Centrale and Garibaldi). It has a wonderful 50 square metre terrace (some of the lessons can take place there when appropriate!) and there are loads of shops, bars and restaurants in the vicinity. An ideal place to do your CELTA.
