Course Description
The CELTA course is awarded by UCLES - University of Cambridge and is the best known and most widely recognised pre-service training course in the world. It qualifies trainees to teach English as a foreign language across all continents.
It is designed as a pre-service course for people with little or no previous teaching experience; it is also suitable for those who have been teaching but have never undergone formal teacher-training. The course involves Teaching Principles, Practical Skills for teaching English to adults and Lesson Preparation. Trainees are assessed throughout the course on Teaching Practice and Written Assignments. Great importance is attached to quality control and every course is moderated by an UCLES external assessor.
Accommodation Options
The school does not have an accommodation service as such but recommends hotels that past trainees have stayed in and approved. You should email or call them to negotiate special deal if you're going to be staying for more than 30 days (contact details for them can be found on the application form).

This centre was founded in 1989 with the mission of offering high quality training services to adult learners in the corporate sector. The company has been contributing to the language learning sucesses of thousands of professionals for more than 17 years and has 5 modern training centres in prominent business areas of the city of Sao Paulo. It is the only centre to offer the Cambridge CELTA course in the city.
Trainees have access to a Teacher's room, which contains video equipment and some resource material for class preparation. There are two computers that can be used, but trainees are advised to bring their own laptops if they can (there is wireless connection).
Refreshments are available at cafes and fast food eateries in the vicinity.

Trainees who demonstrate an above standard teaching performance during their CELTA course and possess very good interpersonal skills may be invited to work at the school should a vacancy arise.

4. Complete it offline in your own time
