This school is currently the only accredited CELTA provider in Beijing and, since July 2012, they are also providing a CELTA course in Shanghai. Their CELTA is run by experienced educators and offers a professional approach to training within a relaxed, comfortable and academically sound learning environment. Accredited by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, The Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults is the most internationally recognised and respected English Language Teaching qualification.

All CELTA courses are moderated and assessed by Cambridge ESOL, guaranteeing the worldwide quality and consistency of CELTA training.

The course presents a view of the principles underlying language teaching, and deals extensively with the analysis of English from the learners' perspective. Presentation of new language, activities to develop language skills, planning and effective use of resources, syllabus design and timetabling are all covered.

The course is divided into two closely interconnected parts. Input sessions covering language teaching methodology and language analysis are followed by daily Teaching Practice sessions, with feedback from course tutors and other trainee teachers.

The CELTA course is very intensive in nature and outside the timetabled 120 hours of formal classes, candidates will also need to dedicate a further 100-120 hours.

CELTA charges do not include accommodation. the school usually recommend hostels for attendance on the course. After acceptance on the course they will send trainees information on a couple of hostels that previous trainees have recommended.

The school recruits over 200 teachers each academic year to fill posts in our London schools and overseas locations. Posts are available throughout the year and the school gives priority placement to their own trainees.
