Course Description
The course runs for a total of 4 weeks, consisting of 3 weeks of intensive in class TEFL theory and training and the final week of actual classroom teaching.
The school takes a holistic approach to TEFL training, where the needs of the students are of most importance. The courses are structured so you are prepared for the classroom faster, and have all the effective techniques to teach in any classroom around the world.
Course content
The TEFL program covers:
- The History of TEFL
- Modern approaches to TEFL training
- Class lesson planning (Listening, reading, writing, Vocab, grammar)
- Class observation and practicum
- Oriental teaching philosophy compared to Western approaches
Accommodation Options

Accommodation can be provided at the City Central Hostel, just a 15 minute walk from the school in Shanghai. The school can book and reserve your rooms for you or you can complete that yourself before you leave if you prefer.
Room rates are 60RMB/night for a dorm and 150RMB for a single/double room.
The school can also provide a studio apartment next to the school for $800USD for the month (31 days).
