Course Description
The University of Cambridge ESOL Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults [DELTA] is an exam course for TESOL teachers who already have considerable experience in teaching EFL and who wish to further their knowledge of theoretical principles and their relationship with teaching practice. Graduates with this qualification frequently go on to take up senior teaching positions in schools and colleges around the world. The DELTA now comprises 3 modules; Module 1 is tested by exam, Module 2 by teaching practice assignments and Module 3 by an extended written assignment’
Assessment takes place in the form of teaching practice, written assignments and an exam.
This course includes Modules 1 and 2 only.
Module 3 is also available from this school as a distance learning module. The price for this module is a further $750 (+ approx AUS$ 103 examination fee). Please contact us for more information.
Accommodation Options
The most popular accommodation choice is the homestay, living with a local family. This accommodation type includes half board - 2 meals/day (breakfast and dinner) 7 days a week and 3 meals/day on weekends (+ lunch). Cost for homestay accommodation is AUD 270 per week, (minimum booking is 2 weeks) and AUD 250 in Brisbane. Home stay families provide a single furnished room in a family home and include breakfast and dinner every day and lunches on weekends.
In addition to that there is a one off AUD 240 placement fee
Hostel fees would be a AUD 310 plus for basic hostel room.
Airport transfer fees are AUD 131 one way.

This TESOL training centre is the teacher training division of a major English Language School in Sydney. It was the first centre in Australia to offer teacher training programs leading to the University of Cambridge qualifications in teaching English as a Foreign Language.
