Customer Feedback
The school seemd to be a high-quality establishment and the trainers, one in particular, were very good at their job.
The course was fun and I learned so much over the four weeks.

Course Description
During the course, you will develop familiarity with the principles of effective teaching and a range of practical skills for teaching English to adult learners.
The course includes teaching practice, observation of experienced teachers in the classroom and completion of a range of practically focused written assignments.
You will receive training and support from fully qualified and experienced ELT professionals. You will also have access to library resources including professional books, publications, multimedia titles and Internet access.
You are assessed continuously during the course and there is no final examination. An external assessor, who is appointed by University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES) moderates each course.
There are three components of assessment: Teaching Practice, Written Assignments and Professional Development. The school will help you prepare thoroughly for each assessment.
Your CELTA course fees include free lifetime membership of the Oxford House Evening Seminar Club. This monthly event is the ideal opportunity to listen to celebrated ELT speakers talk about the latest developments in teaching methodology and practice. Sessions combine theory with practice. Previous speakers include Michael Swan, Mike McCarthy, Susan Kay and Mario Rinvolucri.
The college also works in partnership with Westminster Kingsway to provide additional trainee privileges. These include access to facilities and resources at Westminster Kingsway, plus an NUS (National Union of Students) card.

Often we have a guest speaker who comes to talk about their company or college, their various locations and give some useful interview tips. Our tutors are always on hand to answer any questions you have, including advice on useful websites and the presentation of your C.V. We also have a jobs bulletin board with up to date information about teaching positions available throughout the world from various large, international colleges. Additionally, in the near future we are hoping to have an interactive jobs section on our website where employers and employees can advertise directly.
