Course Description
Course Aims: Materials and Creativity for Language Teachers and Learners
• to critique current materials and their aims
• to analyse materials creation in terms of time, effort and returns
• to explore the benefits and approaches to student-created materials
This course is designed for practising English language teachers and combines operational aspects of classroom work with supporting theory. Topics are relevant to teachers of both young and adult learners.
The tutors are all experienced language teachers and teacher-trainers, and are experts in their field.
The course comprises six hours of tuition per day and participants are encouraged to take a very active role in the guided seminars and group work.
School Details - Twickenham
The school is set in beautiful surroundings near the River Thames. The self-contained campus is located in 35 acres of grounds and is only thirty minutes by train from the lively towns of Kingston and Richmond.
During the month of your course you will have access to many facilities. There is a canteen, cafe and bar which you may also use. You can have reading rights at the library and can also register to use other facilities at certain times of the year.

3. Download the application form and save it on your computer.
4. Complete it offline in your own time
5. Go back to www.cactustefl.com, sign in and submit your completed form.
6. We will keep you posted by email throughout the process.
