Course Description

City & Guilds 7304 Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector:
This qualification is for those already teaching in further and adult education. The qualification is available at Level 4. You will need to complete an application form prior to enrolment. Please note that there is no concession available for this course.

You will cover: planning and enabling and principles and practice of assessment.
In addition, you will cover coaching and mentoring and evaluating learning programmes. You will also be observed for a minimum of 3 hours in your teaching.
Teaching is via group work, peer assessment, discussion, role play and teaching practice. Please note that you will be required to spend at least the equivalent of 70 hours of independent study.

After completing this course, you can progress to the third and final tier of the qualification: the DTLLS


School Details - London East Finchley

This is a college of adult education which celebrated its centenary in 2009. Situated in leafy and pleasant surroundings right next to East Finchley tube station on the Northern Line, the school is easily reached from all over London. They currently have some 6,000 students and are known for their friendly and supportive learning atmosphere.
