Customer Feedback
The school staff were very friendly and on hand to help you. The quality of the trainers was very high.
Glen Pinner
The toughest thing I've ever done - extremely demanding but extremely stimulating. An enormous amount to learn in 4 weeks.

Course Description
This challenging four-week course, running since 1996 in various centres, offers a fantastic introduction into a tough but rewarding profession.
The course has been described as ‘innovative’ on a number of occasions, perhaps because the trainers provides a session on brain function in learning or maybe because they integrate the use of the international phonetic alphabet into, for examples, timetables so that learning the symbols becomes second nature. Or maybe it’s because they don’t teach formal grammar but try to show trainee teachers how to identify the patterns which form the basis of English grammar. In any case, they believe the proof of the pudding is in the eating and many of their trainees, who become teachers, say they appreciate the course because it taught them professional independence.
Accommodation Options
The school has its own residence for female students which is about 15 minutes walk from the school: single room £195 pw with breakfast, they can organise home stay: single room £160 pw, half board and full board at w/e or perhaps, self catering accommodation. These options can be discussed with the Accommodation Manager.

The students’ room has TV and DVD, table tennis, musical instruments and a kitchen area with microwave and oven.
The roof garden is open and in the summer you can sit there and relax or prepare for the afternoon lessons.
The school is in the centre of Oxford with easy access to trains and busses. Car drivers are recommended to use the Oxford Park and Ride since parking in the city is expensive and difficult.
