Viva! Spanish & Latin American Film Festival

The Suzanne Furstner Foundation supported the Education Engagement Sessions at the 15th annual ¡Viva! Spanish & Latin American Film Festival, a project promoting language and educational training.

Each year at the festival, Cornerhouse Engagement presents study sessions for GCSE, AS and A2 students including language exercises, discussions in Spanish and a screening of a specially chosen film from the festival. Extra for this year was an INSET session for teachers, plus a study session for adult learners.

The festival took place from Friday 6th March to Saturday 14th March at Cornerhouse in Manchester, and showcased a diverse range of fantastic films from Spain and Spanish speaking Latin America.
