The training centre in Kerala is located in a large, newly developed business park landscaped with tropical trees and flowers, in South Angamaly, about 20 minutes from Cochin International Airport.

Our Trinity-accredited TEFL Certificate course is for people who want an internationally recognized qualification and an up-to-date and practical course of teacher training. The course runs all year round.

All our trainers hold a Trinity Diploma/DELTA qualification. They are qualified to train TEFL teachers, as well as teach English. They offer expertise in the world of TESOL/TEFL, as well as support and experience.

You may wish to take advantage of the resource centre during your free time. The night is yours to do with as you want, but there is a lot of work that needs doing every day such as planning lessons or working on the various assignments that form an important part of the course. It is hard work, but the staff are always available to help you with any problems, as are your peers.

Your day will include input sessions, teaching practice and observation, and lesson preparation time. Prepare to spend at least 6 hours a day at the school. For example, you may start at 10am and finish at 5pm (with an hour long lunch break) or start at 1pm and finish at 7pm. Expect to spend up to 2 or 3 further hours a day preparing assignments and lessons at home.

The school is open from 8:30am until 7:00pm Monday to Friday and on Saturday from 8:30am until 1:30pm.

We offer a free visa advice and life-long Careers Service. You would have the chance to work with our team in Kerala to discuss job opportunities, there or elsewhere. We would work with you to develop a TEFL CV, send it to schools, prepare for interviews, etc. You�d get started on this as soon as you�ve paid for the course. We have a list of schools which we would refer you to if you do the course with us. This service, as I mentioned, is life-long. So as a graduate you can contact us anytime if you need help finding a teaching job anywhere in the world.

We also offer an internship program in our centre in Kerala. Once you have successfully completed the Trinity Certificate Course with us, you could continue your studies as an intern. In other words you are still a student but, at this stage, you are developing yourself professionally. If you wish to stay on with us you will have your accommodation paid for you by us and we will provide you with a living allowance of about Rupees 10,000 a month. Depending on exchange rates this is about 100 Pounds or 150 Dollars or 135 Euros. This will be enough for you to cover food expenses if you cook for yourself.

On our Internship Programme you will be paired with a mentor who will work with you to develop the skills you need to deliver not only general English classes. Your mentor will provide pathways for you to upgrade yourself professionally so that you can develop the special skills required to teach a variety of levels and adult professionals.
